Plans filed for new truck stop scheme
Plans have been filed for a new mixed-use development set to provide new truck stop facilities and overnight accommodation.Recycling Plant and Machinery Limited are seeking the go-ahead from Neath Port Talbot Council to convert an existing dwelling and annex building into a 16-bed guest house on a section of road which runs between Junction 38 of the M4 motorway at Margam.The proposals include the provision of a new transport hub, with space for up to 21 HGV vehicles.Additionally, the new guest house will hold a café and bar at ground floor level.The existing property on the site has been vacant for a number of years, with the detached annex building having been recently constructed.
