Contracts exchanged on 268-home scheme in Bristol

Bristol City Council’s housing company Goram Homes has exchanged contracts with regeneration specialist Vistry Partnerships at Romney House in Bristol, which is a development of 268 new homes.Formerly the location of Lockleaze School, the site bridges Lockleaze and a new development at Cheswick Village to the north.The site represents the first of two new developments for Goram Homes, with 55 per cent of the scheme being affordable housing delivered for Bristol City Council. Homes will range from one bed flats to four-bed family houses, with a mix of tenures including social rent and shared ownership.Goram managing director Steve Baker said: Our vision for Bristol is high quality, well designed homes in great locations surrounded by amazing green spaces. “Vistry Partnerships are the ideal partner to deliver our first development in Lockleaze with their strong record of regeneration and knowledge of the city.
