Pipeline Framework: PRJ918 – North Central London APMS Contracts

A pipeline has been launched for PRJ918 – North Central London APMS Contracts. The contract start Date is 1 April 2021. Approach to market date is 29 September 2020.NHS England (hereafter referred to as “The Authority”) will shortly be publishing opportunities relating to three contracts for the provision of primary medical GP services (the Services) to be delivered through an Alternative Provider of Medical Services (APMS) contract. The Commissioner of these services is NHS North Central London CCG (leading under delegated commissioning on behalf of the Authority).The procurement will include 3 (three) individual APMS contracts in North Central London and will be split into Lots as follows:Lot 1 – Cricklewood Health Centre, Barnet, NW2Lot 2 – Staunton Group Practice, Haringey, N22Lot 3 – Tottenham Hale Medical Centre, Haringey, N17The Procurement process will be facilitated entirely online via the stated etendering portal ProContract (the Portal). It is envisaged that the procurement documentation will be published on 29 September 2020 via the etendering portal. An OJEU Contracts Notice and a Contracts Finder opportunity notice will be published on 29 September directing interested bidders to the etendering portal where they can register their interest and access the procurement documentation.It is envisaged that the new contracts will begin on 1st April 2021 and will be awarded for an initial period of 5 years, with optional extension for a further 5 years at the discretion of the Commissioner, followed by a final optional extension of a further 5 years at the discretion of the Commissioner. The maximum total duration for each contract is 15 years.Supplementary contract value information (indicative only) for each of the contracts is attached for information.Further information will be made available to interested Bidders via the tender portal on publication of the opportunity on 29 September 2020.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
