Farming business gets permission for new facility
Plans by a Hampshire farming business to create a new training laboratory and grain testing facility have been given the go-ahead.VW Hill & Son has proposed the demolition of two existing buildings at Marwell Manor Farm on Portsmouth Road in Eastleigh.The work will make way for a single timber-framed structure which will house offices/a training laboratory, as well as a grain testing facility.Winchester City Council has approved the proposals subject to conditions.The Hill family has been farming in Hampshire a little after World War II and moved to Marwell Manor Farm in 1982.
