The National Energy Hub is looking to create a 36 month flexible procurement framework with associated services for the provision of Half Hourly Metered, Non Half Hourly and Unmetered Supplies via the wholesale market with The National Energy Hub acting as an intermediary to buy electricity on behalf of private, public and third sector organisations within England, Wales and Scotland to include securing fully fixed non commodity charges from the outset and to forward purchase commodity throughout the contract. The successful supplier would need to provide full access to the wholesale market and mechanism to secure commodity. Under this Framework there is also the requirement to provide clients with short term fixed price contracts on an interim basis to align their contracts with the Framework.
