Permission secured for Droylsden scheme
Taylor Wimpey and Bellway have secured planning permission for a huge residential scheme in Droylsden.The application for 338 homes will see the former bring forward 167 properties in a development dubbed The Orangery.Already on site in the early stages of remediation, the Bellway scheme will be called Marmalade at the Jam Factory and comprise 171 dwellings.As part of its permission, Taylor Wimpey and Bellway will invest £400,000 in transport infrastructure, as well as making financial contributions towards education provision and greenspace.
