United Kingdom-London: Health and social work services – Framework Lead
The current contract for Health and social work services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 22-OCT-21 and may be available for retender. 1415-064 – Mental Health Supported Accommodation.
The 1415-064 Mental Health Supported Accommodation will provide a minimum of 25 (twenty-five) units to people with moderate to severe mental health needs. The service is currently delivered in (3) lots from various locations within Islington.
The service will provide the opportunity for service users who are considering independent living to explore and develop their community living skills following hospital or residential rehabilitation care. The service will enable men and women with severe mental health to lead fulfilling lives in the community, maximising life opportunities and independence.
The target length of stay for service users will be for up to 2 (two) years although this may differ depending on individual needs. If a service user requires a longer period of stay in the supported accommodation service, this will need to be agreed in writing in advance with the council’s Supported Accommodation Referrals Team. However, the expectation would be that the service user be provided with an intensity of support that would ensure a successful move to live more independently within 2 years.
All 3 (three) lots will provide high level support to service users, with on-site support available 24 (twenty-four) hours a day, 7 (seven) days per week including Bank Holidays with sleep-in cover.
