First look at Plastic Park masterplan
Peel L&P Environmental has released a first look at the Plastic Park planned for its Protos energy and resource hub near Ellesmere Port.The first of many planned throughout the UK, the site will process different types of plastic waste, avoiding it ending up in landfill, exported overseas or in the ocean.The 30-acre facility could see more than £165m invested at Protos.It will cluster a variety of plastic recycling and treatment technologies including materials recycling, plastic recycling, PET recycling, waste plastic to hydrogen, and chemical recycling facilities.
