Pipeline Framework: TB Advisory Service
A pipeline has been launched for TB Advisory Service. The contract start Date is 1 April 2021. Approach to market date is 23 November 2020.The Authority is looking to appoint a supplier to deliver expert biosecurity advice to keepers of cattle and farmed non-bovine animals (i.e. South American camelids, deer, goat, pigs and sheep) in the High, Low and Edge bovine TB (bTB) risk areas of England. The advice will be mainly one-to-one, on-farm and bespoke, and will focus on practical and affordable ways to improve the biosecurity of the herd, thereby aiming to protect it from bTB infection. This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly. When a public sector organisation publishes a pipeline notice, it does not necessarily mean that an opportunity will be offered in the future. For more information contact: Defra Network eTendering Portal, 17 Nobel House, London SW1P 3JR.
