The contracting authority is looking for economic operators to provide tyres, tubes and ancillary management services for around eight hundred and sixty-four (864) vehicles within its fleet, and one hundred and sixty-five (165) items of plant/trailers. The contracting authority operates a twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) day a week, three hundred and sixty-five (365) days a year service and the economic operator would be expected to maintain a tyre repair service when called upon to do so at any UK location on a twenty-four (24) hour basis. All the tyre fitters are required to have a suitable vehicle (fully equipped) at their disposal for all aspects of mobile repairs.
