Plans lodged for hundreds of Grimsby homes
Plans have been lodged for a development of hundreds of homes and a new care facility on the site of a former school in Grimsby.North East Lincolnshire Council, supported by ENGIE Technical Design, has submitted an application for the development of land at the Former Western School, off Cambridge Road.Outline planning permission is sought for a total of 387 residential units. These would including a mix of private and social housing, ranging from one-bedroom town houses up to four-bedroom detached houses, and a 90-bed extra care facility. New local shops and services, and green open spaces, are also proposed.Outline approval is also sought for access and new roads on the site.
