Supply, Installation & Maintenance of Bus Stop Infrastructure.
The Framework Agreement is for the supply, installation and subsequent maintenance of Bus Stop Infrastructure equipment as defined in the Specification and Pricing Schedule. Hampshire County Council (‘the Authority’) has a network of bus routes and services which are operated commercially and under support by the Authority. Across this network there are approximately 8 500 bus stops, of which 7 000 are without shelters and a further 1 500 are with shelters.
This Framework will enable the continued deployment of bus stop infrastructure following the recent successful funding applications under the Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) that include 3 key projects, Hampshire Sustainable Travel Towns (HSTT), Access to National Parks and Transport for South Hampshire (TfSH). In addition, Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP) and Local Transport Plans offer continued opportunities for new bus stop infrastructure deployment.
