New Belfast homes set for approval
Proposals for a new residential scheme near Belfast’s Ormeau Road are set to be approved.The site earmarked for development is located on the boundary of the city centre in south Belfast. It comprises landscaped lands on either side of McClure Street. If plans are approved by Belfast City Council’s planning committee next week (19 January 2021) it would comprises 22 residential units, including 20 detached dwellings and one unit with two apartments.A document filed ahead of the authority’s meeting said the “proposal is considered acceptable and planning permission is recommended”.Apex Housing is behind the planning application.
