Hudson Quarter on track for March completion
Work on the mixed-use Hudson Quarter opposite York Railway Station is set to complete in March.The development from Palace Capital comprises 127 apartments, 39,000 sq ft of office space, car parking, a new courtyard and a landscaped route through from opposite the station to Toft Green.Law firm Knights has already taken 4,500 sq ft of office space in the development at what is said to be a record breaking office rent for York.The three apartment blocks in the development are named Waverley, Victoria and Kings, in recognition of Yorks’s railay heritage. A fourth building housing the office space is known as HQ.Caddick Construction is the main contractor on site and has put in place new measures to ensure it is fully compliant with government guidance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Hudson Moody and Carter Jonas have been instructed as residential sales agent on the development and commercial enquiries are being handled by JLL and Sanderson Weatherall.
