Work to resume on next Wellington Place phase
Developer and Asset Manager MEPC has resumed work on a new office building at 11 & 12 Wellington Place.The project had previously been paused for a short time during 2020 to concentrate on the completion of 4 Wellington Place.Enabling works having already been completed and 11 & 12 Wellington Place is on track for completion in Q4 2022. It will be the ninth building completed by Wates Construction on the site.The building will comprise 245,000 sq ft of Grade A, BREEAM Outstanding office and retail/leisure space.Once finished, 11 & 12 Wellington Place is expected to bring a further 2,500 more people to the area, taking the projected total working population of Wellington Place to 12,500 people.
