Green light for Barclays campus investment plans
Barclays’ proposed revamp of its Radbroke Technology Centre near Knutsford has secured approval. The plans represent a significant long-term investment from the bank, which seeks to provide a modern, flexible working environment for the 4,000 colleagues based at the site.By redesigning the campus, removing some existing buildings and re-configuring the site layout, Barclays plans to re-green about 80,000 sq ft of previously developed land. This will “significantly improve” its sustainability credentials and help meet its ambition to become net zero by 2050.
