Block of 16 affordable flats earmarked for Dalmeny
Plans have been submitted by JM Architects for a block of 16 flats on brownfield land at Dalmeny near South Queensferry. The affordable homes for the site on the corner of Craw’s Close and Burdock Road form part of the wider masterplan for the former Agilent Technologies site. The practice said its vision for this site is to complete and anchor this section of the masterplan through the creation of a high-quality building that takes advantage of its location at this junction and is seen “in the round”.The site had originally been designated for commercial use and pre-application discussions have been held with the City of Edinburgh Council to discuss the provision of residential units in this location.Cruden Homes has been lined up to deliver the homes should the application be approved.
