Keyland brings first phase of Whitby development to market
Keyland Developments, the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister company to Yorkshire Water, has launched the first phase of a new residential development in Whitby.Keyland secured planning consent from Scarborough Council in November last year to transform the 24-acre site at Broomfield Farm in Whitby into a mixed residential use scheme of up to 290 homes with associated infrastructure and public open space.The new development in its entirety could support the creation of 700 jobs in the Whitby area.The development is set to be completed in two phases, the first of which has now been launched to market by Allsop.The Phase 1 site, which could accommodate 230 new homes, is for sale by way of informal tender and the deadline for offers has been set for 12 noon on Wednesday 21 April 2021.
