Pipeline Framework: Technology and Management Agent – Food Supply and Delivery Platform

A pipeline has been launched for Technology and Management Agent – Food Supply and Delivery Platform.The contract start Date is 31 December 2021. Approach to market date is 1 April 2021.This agreement will initially be a twelve-month pilot programme that will run in the South West of England, and will then roll out nationally following the successful completion of the pilot.RM6227 will provide access to an online platform that links public sector organisations with a wide range of local food producers and suppliers. Customers will have the flexibility to meet their food requirements using multiple suppliers. The food products offered by the platform include:fresh, pantry, bakery, ready meals frozen foods, drinks, catering consumables.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
