SSE is a leading energy company whose purpose is to provide the energy needed today while building a better world of energy for tomorrow. Its strategy is to create value for shareholders and society from developing, operating and owning energy and related infrastructure in a sustainable way.
Operating three core businesses and six complementary business, SSE contributed almost £8bn to the UK economy in FY 2020 and plans to invest £7.5bn over the next 5 years.
Following the development of a Digital Strategy, SSE Procurement are planning to implement a process mining solution in the summer of 2021. It is envisaged that initially this solution will be connected to the main procurement systems with an expectation that there will be a requirement to deploy to other areas within SSE shortly afterwards.
The scope of the PQQ is the delivery of a suitable IT solution that will extract event logs and use them to generate visualizations and other output that give a full picture of any bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or gaps in SSE’s processes. This should also offer the capability to fix processing issues through system generated actions and automations.
