Travis Perkins acquires site for new Bristol branch
Builders’ merchant Travis Perkins has acquired the former Motus Group UK site in the St Philips area of Bristol for redevelopment as a new flagship branch. The company, advised by Alder King, purchased the freehold of the 2.7 acre site on Days Road.A planning application for the redevelopment of the site has now been submitted to create a new 20,000 sq ft depot. Motus Group UK is the parent company of Motus Commercials, the largest independent commercial vehicle dealer group in the UK with 30 locations. The sale of its St Philips site enabled it to relocate to new premises in Avonmouth. Motus Group was advised by Knight Frank and NG Chartered Surveyors.
