Milestone reached at Tamworth housing scheme
A housing development in Tamworth has reached a key milestone with the completion of more than 100 homes.A total of 104 properties have now been built and occupied at Ashberry Homes’ Oaklands development off Ashby Road, where the latest phase of homes has just been launched.Oaklands will eventually comprise 292 properties, including 24 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.The development features a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom houses, and is part of a wider scheme of 535 homes.Construction work at Oaklands commenced in May 2017 and is scheduled to be completed in early 2023. The third phase of the development will include 24 homes.
