Major housing plans on former quarry site given thumbs up
Major housing plans on the site of a former quarry in West Bromwich have been given the thumbs up.Countryside Properties UK is sought planning approval from Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council to construct 223 homes on land at Hall Green Road.The majority of the site relates to a former quarry and disused tip.The scheme comprises 34, two-bed, 153, three-bed and 36, four-bed homes, along with a new play area.All properties have their own garden space and are a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced dwellings.The scheme has now been approved, subject to conditions.
