Care home proposed on former engineering site

Plans have been lodged for the development of a new care home on the site of a former engineering facility in Beeston, Nottinghamshire.Tanglewood Care Services Ltd is aiming to build a 66-bed residential care facility at Ellis Grove.The site previously comprised of the large former Myfords Engineering site which was demolished in 2017.The three-storey building provides single-room accommodation, with en-suite facilities.Additional facilities include a reception space, a visitor room, a bespoke health and wellbeing spa equipped with light exercise, occupational health and physiotherapy equipment, a quiet room, a dining room and lounge and a bar.28 car parking spaces are provided, including two electrical charging spaces with the future capacity to increase to 10, and three accessible parking spaces.An ambulance/delivery drop off area is located directly adjacent to the main entrance.
