Artist impressions of latest homes coming to Warwickshire’s new ‘mini-town’

Planning permission has been granted for the next stage of development on land at Rugby’s iconic former radio station development at Houlton.A variety of new homes including two, three, four and five bedroom properties will be built at the site.And artists impressions of the properties have now been released, to give potential buyers a feel for the homes.Houlton is a new ‘mini-town’ being set up near Rugby and will take 15 years to complete.It has been named after the town in Maine, USA, where the first transatlantic voice transmission was received and originally home to the world’s most powerful radio transmitter.This development of 146 homes are part of a masterplan that will include a staggering 6,200 homes, a new secondary school, three new primary schools, 31 hectares of employment space, a district centre, three local centres and 24 hectares of open space and sports pitches.
