Plans lodged for affordable housing scheme
Plans have been lodged for the development of more than 50 affordable properties on agricultural land in Leicestershire.Owl Partnerships and Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) are working in partnership to build 55 homes off of Homefield Road in Sileby, comprising a mix of shared ownership and affordable rent properties.The approximately 2.8-acre application site is currently occupied by underused agricultural land. The greenfield land is bounded by hedgerows and trees, which will be retained and enhanced as part of the development proposal.The scheme consists of two, three and four-bed houses, two-bedroom bungalows and one-bedroom maisonettes.Homes England funding has been agreed in principle for the project.
