Plans unveiled for second phase of Everards Meadows
Plans have been unveiled for a second phase of development at Everards Meadows in Leicester.The plans have been brought forward by family-owned brewery Everards, with the site located near the River Soar and junction 21 of the M1.Set in 70 acres of green space, the first phase of the scheme includes a new brewery and headquarters for Everards, alongside a beer hall and shop.Designed by Frankin Ellis Associates, the proposals for phase two include a new hotel and the creation of a mixed campus, including up to seven buildings set around a tree-lined square. Occupiers for the campus haven’t been confirmed, but the space would be suitable for commercial, educational or healthcare users.Everards is now sharing its early-stage plans for the second phase ahead of submitting a planning application.
