Work completes on Lincoln housing project
The final homes have been completed at a new housing development close to the centre of Lincoln.Chestnut Homes has put the finishing touches to its LN6 development off Westbrooke Road after six years of construction work.The housebuilder has completed 131 homes and provided an investment of more than £170,000 in local services.LN6 has been constructed in four phases, with work beginning on the last phase of 24 homes in February last year. All the properties for sale have now been purchased and buyers are due to move into the final homes in June.As part of the planning agreement for LN6, Chestnut Homes has provided funding of £80,974 for education, £36,440 towards playing fields and children’s play areas and £11,150 for a travel plan for new residents.An additional payment of £42,133 has been made to the City of Lincoln Council in the form of a community infrastructure levy.
