The overall intention of this Vendor Group is to create collaborative working relationships between Policing and Vendors. The aim is to ensure vendors are adequately informed about the strategic direction of digital forensics (DF) to facilitate the development of services and tools that are fit for policing, to ensure the DF policing user requirements are understood to support future innovation. The general purpose of the Vendor Group is to ensure that FCN as the national organisation created to manage and facilitate forensic capability, understands the views of key stakeholders and enables them to influence the delivery and direction of products and services in order to effectively engage in development and innovation around DF.
