Community Based Crisis Support
To support individuals with mental health needs to achieve emotional wellbeing and fulfilling lives, through delivering high quality services and support in an accessible community based settings across the Doncaster Borough.
The community based crisis support service will provide person centred support which champions mental wellbeing within communities. It will form a integral part of an integrated pathway across the voluntary, community and faith sector, primary care, mental health and social care including public health. This will help to ensure appropriate, equitable, timely and cost effective interventions are available for vulnerable people in the community. The service will be based on recovery and social inclusion principles and designed to be accessible to anyone needing mental health and wellbeing support in Primary Care, and prevent people who may fall through the gaps between services.
