Short description of the contract or purchase(s):: Boundary boxes and service fittings refers to small diameter fittings used on pipes between the main network and the residential network, up to and including the boundary box.
The category is structured in 3 lots:
Lot 1 – Boundary boxes (including 1, 2, 4 and 6 port boxes);
Lot 2 – Manifolds;
Lot 3 – Service Fittings.
These lots contain products suitable for use in non-contaminated and contaminated ground. These products will be suitable for use in the water industry and shall conform to the current European, British or Water Industry standards, be suitable for use with potable water, and meet Thames Water specifications.
Thames Water may require delivery of products directly to customer, to central stores or to project site.
Contracts awarded under the framework agreements may be awarded directly by Thames Water or by one of its approved contractors or an approved sub-contractor. The supplier will be expected to offer the same levels of service and commercial benefits to Thames Water and its approved contractors and sub-contractors.
For single large scale requirements the supplier may be required to ‘project manage’ to ensure that all goods are supplied in a timely manner and project costs are minimised.
Thames Water reserves the right not to award Framework Agreements for 1 or more Lots.
Companies may apply individually and/or provide joint venture or consortium applications.
