Framework agreement for fully-funded photovoltaic solutions
Optivo is now seeking to appoint a single developer partner to a framework agreement (the “Framework Agreement”) to deliver a fully-funded roof-top photovoltaic solution across the UK public sector property portfolio.
The framework agreement will provide a complete solution to public sector entities seeking to secure projects for the generation of electricity and will increase the development, design, funding, construction and operation of PV installations in accordance with the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and all other legislative requirements. It is envisaged that call-off contracts will be up to 5 MW on the individual or linked sites.
Developers will need to demonstrate secured funding, a track record of project delivery in roof-top solar PV projects at scale as well as a professional and experienced supply chain.
Optivo intends that the framework will be able to be accessed by other UK contracting authorities, as detailed in section II.2.14 below.
