Countryside launches village housing project
Mixed-tenure developer Countryside has launched its latest development in the South Staffordshire village of Featherstone. Countryside, the UK’s leading mixed-tenure developer specialising in placemaking and regeneration, has launched its latest development of two, three and four bedroom homes in the South Staffordshire village of Featherstone. Located on the site of Brinsford Lodge, Harvest Grove will comprise 79 houses, including 24 affordable homes with registered provider Wrekin Housing Group. Planning permission was granted by South Staffordshire Council in March this year.The scheme will provide two, three and four bedroom homes.Countryside has pledged to contribute to the local area, including the provision of a football pitch, changing rooms and car parking. Countryside will also invest in a new local play area at the development, contributing £125,000 towards its maintenance with a further £7,000 travel plan contribution.
