Tulchan Developments announces new “build to suit” plan amid demand for space
Tulchan Developments has announced its new “build to suit” development at Eurocentral.The Glasgow based property firm will be building the site at Orchard Park, which is a 40-acre site that can deliver up to 400,000 sq ft of stock of prime logistics in Scotland.Eurocentral has more than 3m sq ft of logistics space with occupiers including Lidl, Hermes, Amazon, XPO, NHS and Brewdog.Tulchan is not planning to build speculatively. It is planning to react quickly to the build to suit the market being fuelled by the lack of available stock.The size of the unit being offered will range from 42,500 sq ft to 225,000 sq ft. It will also be offering car parking.Colliers and Montagu Evans have been appointed to market the opportunity.Completed projects by the team behind Orchard Park include the land sale to Tesco for their 750,000 sq ft distribution hub at Livingston, on the M8, 40,000 sq ft for Geopost and DPD at Newbridge in Edinburgh, 70,000 sq ft for DPD at Eurocentral M8 and the regional distribution facility for Co-op at Inverness Airport Business Park.Tulchan are also in the process of delivering a new bespoke warehousing facility of 47,000 sq ft for a major occupier customer in the West of Scotland.
