Jisc Services Ltd (JSL) intends to establish a multi-supplier framework agreement for e-Books services content supply. The purpose of the framework is to provide a mechanism for JSL to purchase content to support Jisc’s e-Books for FE service and any opportunities for new services to other education and training sectors. Jisc e-Books for FE service has provided all FE institutions in the UK with free access to a collection of curriculum-led e-Books since 2009. Jisc licensed the e-Books on behalf of the colleges, and they are currently hosted on the e-Book Central platform.
