Framework Agreement for a Lift Replacement Programme
Oxford City Council is seeking to engage with experienced and qualified contractor(s) to establish a 4 year Framework Agreement for a Lift Replacement Programme. Following condition survey reports undertaken in 2015 for Housing and Corporate buildings on passenger lifts, disabled access lifts and stair lifts at various locations in Oxford, lifts were identified for replacement over a 10 year period. The periods given were only estimates and based on existing conditions and the present maintenance / service routines being maintained. At present the Council has provisional funds for the first 3 projects / replacements, but cannot guarantee any further work until budgets have been identified and agreed per year. Mini-competitions will be held on award for the first 3 projects / lift replacements. The Authority is using the South East Business portal to carry out this procurement process.
