Regeneration scheme’s latest phase approved

Plans have been approved for the second phase of Davidsons Homes’ latest development on the site of a former radio station in Rugby.The housebuilder will construct a further 42 homes as part of the ongoing regeneration of the former Rugby Radio Station site in the village Houlton. The regeneration is being led by Urban&Civic and Aviva Investors.Known as Davidsons at Houlton, it is the third development to be built by Davidsons Homes on the site and is being completed in two phases which will eventually comprise 69 new properties.Work is underway on the first phase of 27 homes, in which a range of two, three and four-bedroom houses are being built.Houlton will eventually consist of about 6,200 new homes, three primary schools, a secondary school, health centre and other community facilities.
