Work starts on transformation of council offices
Work has started on the transformation of former council offices in Staffordshire to provide new supported living apartments.The £5m conversion of the former Rugeley Town Council building on Anson Street to create 18 en-suite apartments, with communal areas, is being completed through Urban Village Group’s sister company Urban Village Healthcare.A 25-year lease has already been agreed with housing group Cornerstone CIC to enable the provision of specialist supported living at the new development.The new facility is expected to reach practical completion in the autumn.
