Multimillion-pound deal agreed for logistics site
Glentrool Estates Group has agreed a multimillion-pound deal to sell a 37-acre logistics site at Sherburn-in-Elmet.The site, which forms part of the Yorkshire development and investment company’s Sherburn2 scheme, is set to be purchased by London-based real estate investor Firethorn Trust.Firethorn is set to bring forward up to 660,000 sq ft logistics warehousing across one or multiple buildings to suit a range of occupiers.Sherburn2 is an established commercial and industrial location, immediately adjacent to Sherburn Enterprise Park, which is home to occupiers including L&G Modular Homes, Eddie Stobart, Sainsbury’s and Clipper Logistics.Firethorn Trust was advised by Lambert Smith Hampton and Stephenson Harwood, and Glentrool Estates was represented by Colliers International and Carter Towler.
