Plans to turn former bank into student flats given go-ahead
Plans by Maber Architects to turn a former Halifax bank building into student flats have been given the go-ahead over a year after they were submitted.Student digs operator Megaclose will turn the building at 7-11 Milton Street into a mixed-use residential and retail development and a single storey extension to the roof.Some 17 studio and cluster flats are planned, housing 29 students, along with around 2,500 sq ft of retail space in a move that will create 10 jobs.
