Industrial development hopes to move forward
A proposed industrial development in Widnes is set to move forward when it is brought before a planning committee meeting next month.Beeson Total Developments U.K. is seeking permission for an industrial development comprising two warehouse buildings with ancillary and office space at Shell Green, Bennetts Lane. Proposals would also include service yards, car parking, landscaping and access infrastructure.The plan would provide a total additional 36,132 sq ft of general industrial, storage and distribution floor space and 5,611 sq ft of office space, which would be split across the proposed two units.A report set to be considered by planning officials recommends that delegated powers are given to the operational director of policy, planning and transportation, in consultation with the chairman or vice chairman of the development management committee, to determine the application. If the application is approved it would be subject to the conditions.Halton Borough Council’s development management committee meet on Monday 6 September.
