Approval for affordable housing scheme
Proposals for an affordable housing development on the outskirts of Sunderland have been given the green light.Sunderland City Council has approved plans by Adderstone Living for 45 two- and three-bed bungalows and two storey semi-detached properties on land at Redburn Road in Houghton-le-Spring. The scheme also comprises a village green, new car parking, landscaping and associated infrastructure.Works are due to commence this autumn, with the first phase of properties available in late 2022.
