Preston 250-home scheme advances
Approval has been granted for a 250-strong scheme on agricultural land in Preston.Hollins Homes is behind the hybrid application on 18 acres of land south of Bartle Lane, Lower Bartle.Outline plans for 195 homes and full planning for 55 properties on the site have now both been approved by Preston City Council’s planning committee.Permission has been given subject to agreement being completed on the provision of 30 per cent affordable housing and a contribution to the East-West Preston Link Road.The application was the largest to go before Preston’s most recent committee meeting.
