A defence authority has issued a tender for 40 sets of twin cylinder open circuit (SCUBA) diving set.
The scuba diving sets will be used for training, diving and other underwater naval operations in fresh and salt water.
Open circuit diving set should be supplied with the components:
2 cylinders with each set
made of aluminium
capacity of floodable/internal volume 7 to 8 litres
working pressure of 205 to 250 bar
test pressure of 1.67 times of working pressure
black or grey in colour
they must be neutrally buoyant when used under water
protective boats fixed at the bottom of cylinder with water drainage system
