Lichfields secures homes planning
Plans for a family homes development have been given the green light.Eccleston Homes, supported by planning and development consultancy, Lichfields, has secured planning permission for 22 houses on Black Moss Lane, Scarisbrick.West Lancashire Council’s planning committee unanimously approved the proposals to transform the brownfield site into a cul-de-sac of four and five bedroomed properties.All the housing has been designed with spacious rear gardens and parking.The bid also includes landscaping, tree planting, woodland management and a new footpath to link the site with Southport Road.The site currently comprises vacant industrial stores, warehouses and offices, which were previously occupied by food wholesaler Bidfood. The commercial buildings, which are in a poor state of repair, will be demolished to make way for stylish two and two-and-a-half-storey homes and landscaping.
