A defence authority has invited a tender for a multilayer PCB reverse engineering system.
The multilayer Printed Circuit Board (PCB) reverse engineering system will be used to fully reverse engineer PCBs by providing complete manufacturing Computer Aided Design (CAD) data and even schematics.
The system is needed to scan all layers of the PCBs and produce the:
gerber data
drill files
component centroid data
assembly data
fabrication data.
The required system should be capable of re-engineering multilayer complex PCBs. It should allow creation of high quality CAD data from multilayer PCBs for PCB fabrication, test and repair.
The system should have tools, accessories, software and functionality to support the destructive and non destructive Reverse Engineering (RE) process.
The system should be capable to capture image of all PCB layers in colour, grey and black and white format and store it in digital format for PCB, film and drawing deterioration. This should be able to extract component centroid data, rotation and reference designator information. It will need to create netlists including component pin numbering and footprint information for schematic generation.
You must fulfill the following technical specifications:
lifetime version of the license
the software should have flash pads and tracks of PCBs
silkscreen and soldermask of PCBs
drill and route CNC data
processing and imaging capability of PCBs should be 24 layers or more
output data format of gerber file, dxf, bmp or tiff image and other format
