Garden centre plans backed
Plans have been approved for the creation of a new garden centre in Prescot. Subject to the sale of the land being concluded, the new Whitakers Garden Centre will occupy a 26,000 sq ft site next to Prescot Business Park and close to Cables Retail Park and new housing developments in the area.Also included in the plans is a café and car park. The proposals were approved at Knowsley Council’s planning committee.
