Green light for Newcastle housing development
Plans for a new housing development in Newcastle, that will provide 99 new homes including 16 affordable houses, have been backed by the council.The homes will be built on the site of the former Chapel Park Middle School which closed in 2005.The application by Gentoo Homes, proposes that the properties will comprise a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom homes that are mostly two storeys, but with four bungalows included.The application was granted, subject to conditions.
