Sports club homes plan set to progress
The site of a former sports club in Crewe could soon be transformed into a development of more than 70 homes.The Guinness Partnership wants to build 73 properties on land at the old Crewe LMR Sports Club in Goddard Street.Of these, 42 would be independent living apartments and 31 houses, all of which would be affordable housing.Access and landscaping forms part of the plans.Planning officials at Cheshire East Council have recommended the application is approved subject to a section 106 agreement and conditions.
