Housing scheme to move forward
A housing scheme on a previously demolished development site in Durham looks set to move forward.The proposal, by Placefirst, comprises a build to rent development of 89 homes including 54 bungalows and 35 two storey homes.The scheme is located on 52 acres of land on the edge of Esh Winning, to the north of Ridding Road.The site was previously occupied by 61 homes known as The Oaks and Rowan Court, but that estate has now been demolished.The application is set to go before Durham County Council on Thursday 25 November with the recommendation for approval.
